A good quality, Antique, Victorian, Solid Silver Fob Pocket Watch made by Fattorini & Sons of Bradford and dating from c1890.
The Swiss made, 3/4 plate movement is in very good, clean condition and excellent working order. The movement is complete with dust cover, relatively rare for fob watches, a sign of quality. It is key wound and set by the key provided.
The white enamel dial is in very good condition with the hours in Roman numerals. It is also signed by the maker's.
The solid silver case is in excellent condition. It has decorative engraving to the rear with a central cartouche that is free of initials. It is hallmarked with "0.935" alongside Swiss Control marks for 0.935 standard silver. slightly higher grade than English sterling (0.925).
A lovely example of a Victorian Fob Pocket Watch.
The watch measures 39mm in diameter.
