Antique silver English lever pocket watch
Antique silver English lever pocket watch originally retailed by Johnson & Son Sheffield
The watch has a stem-winding movement which working well. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 50.6mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside both of the back covers for Birmingham 1921, with a maker’s mark for William Ehrhardt . The back of the watch has engine turned detail with a vacant central cartouche. The case has light surface marking from use but overall it is in nice condition for a 1920s piece.
The glass lens has light marking from use although very acceptable for a 1920s piece.
The enamel dial is signed with the original retailers name Johnson & Son, Sheffield. The dial has a faint hairline crack at 6 o,clock but otherwise it is in nice condition.
The watch has its original blued steel hands.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box. ALL PRICES INCLUDE UK POSTAGE (excluding Northern Ireland).
