Silver 0.800 L.U.C. Chopard Open Faced Pocket Watch 1915 - Louis Ulysses Chopard

A silver 0.800 open face pocket watch made by the famous Swiss L.U.C watchmakers in 1915.

Dial: The white enamel dial has black Arabic numerals with outer minute divisions. The dial has nice antique style hands and a subsidiary second’s dial at the six. The dial is signed in the upper centre LUC.

Movement: The Swiss made keyless wind anchor movement has 15 jewels. The movement is clean and in great working condition as it has just been serviced by my watchmaker however, we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique watch. The movement is signed: “L.U.C.”.

Case: The watch lies in a silver open face case with a rubbed engine turned finish with a monogram free cartouche. The inner side of the case is stamped LUC and numbered 3471. The cuvette has engraved various medals and “ANCRE, LIGNE DROITE, LEVEES VISIBLES, BALANCIER COUPE, 15 RUBIS, L.U.C., 2 PLATEAUX SPIRAL BREGUET”.
