Antique Rosewood Caddy
Antique rosewood caddy
This Regency rosewood caddy was made circa 1825.
Formerly used for storing tea, this has been beautifully adapted to be used as a useful storage box.
It is made in the interesting sarcophagus shape. At the time it was made the Egyptian influence was very much to the fore in design, and the more fashionable and wealthy home owners had pieces commissioned to show this.
We have restored this caddy so that it is ready for your home, or to be given as a lovely gift.
23cms wide (9ins)
13,5cms deep (5 1/4ins)
17cms high (6 1/2ins)
All dimensions are approximate
