This is an antique reference book, The Greyhound by Stonehenge. An English language, bound and illustrated guide to the breed, dating to the Victorian period, published 1875.
Using the nom de plume Stonehenge, John Henry Walsh (1810 - 1888) was a sports writer born in London, initially operating as a surgeon alongside until he achieved success with his rural sports titles. Such titles included The Shot-Gun and Sporting Rifles of 1859 and The Horse in the Stable and in the Field (1861).
Full title: The Greyhound - A Treatise on the Art of Breeding, Rearing and Training Greyhounds for Public Running: Their Diseases and Treatment. Containing also the National Rules for the Management of Coursing Meetings and for the Decision of Courses.
