This is an antique reference book, the New & Complete History and Survey of London. An English language, aged topographical guide to the city and its surroundings, dating to the late Georgian period, this revision published 1787.

Full title The New, Complete and Universal History, Description and Survey, The Cities of London and Westminster, the Borough of Southwark, and the Parts Adjacent including Not only all the Parishes within the Bills of Mortality, but Likewise the Towns, Villages Places, Seats and Country to the Extent of above Twenty Miles Round With all Improvements and Alterations.

Compiled by a society of gentlemen from authentic records and sources, this edition revised by William Thornton and assisted by George Smith and Reverend Alex Townsend. Printed in London in MDCCLXXXVII (1787).
