THAMES VALLEY CHAIR

This is a wonderful example of a Georgian / Thames Valley Vernacular Oxford Chair. It is raised upon turned front legs and swept back legs surmounting in a scroll back to the top of the chair and a bar back upper rail. It has great patination and a wonderful turned front rail with urn shaped turnings for the arm supports. A great chair that has seen history in great condition.
