Pocket Watch: A Very Fine 1877 Victorian Open-Faced Silver Dial Fusee Pocket Watch.
A very fine, premium quality, Victorian silver cased open-faced fusee pocket watch.
• Silver hallmarked London 1877.
• Silver dial and subsidiary second’s dial, with an engine turned flinqué style Guilloché pattern.
• Gold outer garlanded ring, with hand-rendered and engraved central gold and silver floral decoration.
• Raised Gothic style gold Roman numerals.
• Original blued hands.
• Fusee movement with silver balance and diamond end stone.
• Case maker was Charles Cooke (“C.C”), of Thomas Street, Butts, Coventry.
• Case and movement serial numbers are the same: “44885.”
• Comes with a winding key, together with instructions on how to wind and set the watch time.
