This is an antique miniature set of dominoes in a mahogany box made for travelling, circa 1900. All 28 dominoes are present. The top of the box and dominoes are made from faux ivory, which in the case of the latter are glued to mahogany blocks stained black on the base to resemble ebony. The box is fitted with one long brass hinge and a hook and eye on the front to secure the contents.

This is a particularly fine example of its type with excellent definition of the spots on the top of the box and on each of the dominoes
