Fine quality antique mahogany military campaign partners desk in good original condition & dating from around the 1950's period. Like most partners desks, it has drawers & cupboards on the back, with shelves inside the cupboards. To look at the back the cupboards give the appearance that they are drawers, so it looks exactly the same front & back. The front section is all drawers with the bottom right had one being a double filing drawer. All the drawers or dummy drawers have inset brass military handles & the two central top drawers have locks. This desk also has all the typical brass corner fittings, brass side handles, plus an oval brass plaque in the centre of the original tooled leather writing surface. If you enlarge all the images, you will just be able to make out chamfered top edges which add to the overall character of this desk, which is further enhanced by the shadowing on the polish. This desk lifts apart into three sections for easy transportation.
