Impressive antique mahogany display cabinet in good original condition, with original colour & patina. The top cornice has a dental frieze with tear drop mouldings below. The astral glazing is of Gothic design & the shelves inside the cabinet are shaped. There is a working key & the glazed section sits on the original stand with chamfered legs. This cabinet is a very well constructed piece & you can see how well the back is panelled with solid timbers. I would date this cabinet to around the 1890's period.
