The watch has a 15 jewel stem-winding movement, identified as by Thommen, which is working nicely. The movement is signed Limit, an importer of watches into the UK, and they were based in Oldham in Lancashire, UK. The movement is protected by an inner hinged dust cover.
The watch itself measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and is the Star model made by the Dennison Watch Case Company. The case has light surface marking and a couple of small patches of unevenness.
The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside, there is an acrylic lens which is in good condition.
The signed dial has blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers. There is a little patch of damage to the edge of the dial, next to number 9.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
