A gorgeous mid 19th century rosewood vanity case of pleasing quality presented in very good condition.

With original interior fittings and original working lock and key.

Certainly a superior example with wonderful detail throughout.

The box opens to reveal a top quality interior with fine velvet, silver capped jars, original stoppers, lift our tray and concealed mirror in the lid.

A button operates the 'pop-out' hidden side drawer.

With mother-of-pearl lock escutcheon and central cartouche.
