Finely crafted Japanese bamboo page turner depicting a robed man clutching a gourd on rocks with pine tree, waterfall and clouds overhead.
The handle is shaped, pierced with a single hole and carved with a geometric design and a hanging fruit at the near end.
As is typically the case, the reverse is much more simply carved.

Dimensions: 43 cm length x 5 cm width (17" x 2")

Condition: Excellent condition with a nice colour and patina. No splits.
