Antique Hanhart & Co retailed in Allahabad & Mussoorie Gunmetal Pocket Watch Swiss 1900

An antique Hanhart & Co gunmetal open face pocket watch, made in Switzerland in the 1900’s and retailed in Allahabad & Mussoorie in India.

Dial: The pearl-coloured silvered dial has blue Art Nouveau style Arabic numerals with outer minute divisions. The dial has blued fine hands and a subsidiary second’s dial at the six.

Movement: The anchor lever gilt frosted movement has blued screws with compensated balance and regulator. The movement is in great working condition however, we cannot guarantee accuracy for an antique pocket watch. The movement is signed: “Hanhart & Co, Swiss Made, Allahabad & Mussoorie, No811572”.

Case: The watch lies in a gunmetal open face case with a smooth finish. The inner side of the case is numbered: 811572.
