Due to the watch being lever set, this is more of a collector’s piece rather than an every day watch.
The watch has a signed 15-jewel stem-winding movement with a Charles Teske patent regulator (patent granted in 1875). The serial number 776839 dates it back to 1893. The movement is working nicely.
The watch measures 54mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is rose gold filled and it is beautifully decorated and in lovely condition.
The glass lens is in good condition with just very minor marking.
The signed dial has a couple of hairline cracks although they are faint. There are some chips around the edge of the dial but they are mostly covered up by the bezel.
The hands are lever set. This means that to initially set the time, the bezel is unscrewed and there is a small lever next to number 5 which is gently pulled out. The winding crown is then turned to move the hands clockwise to the correct position and the lever gently pushed back in.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
