Antique Georgian Style Walnut Open Bookcase
A smart and very well made antique Georgian style walnut open bookcase. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1950’s.
It is of superb quality and is a very useful size with lots of storage space. The walnut colour tones and grain patterns are gorgeous, the shelves are all removable / adjustable and sit on sharks teeth supports. This sits on bracket feet, the frieze at the top is inlaid with stunning burr walnut and double herringbone borders, this has a lovely detailed overhanging cornice at the top.
We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age.
We also have the matching slightly slimmer bookcase that came with this, seen listed under our other items for sale.

Depth – 12 inches , 31 cm
