Antique Fusee Chronograph Pocket Watch, 1875.
An open-faced, silver chronograph pocket watch with fusee movement by master watchmaker Samuel Highton, of 40 Market Street, Over Darwen, Lancashire.
Born 1845, Highton was a renown and highly respected top-end, specialist chronograph maker to the medical professions, and this exceptional timepiece is a very fine example of his outstanding craftsmanship.
