Antique English Walnut Cigar Cabinet c.1880
A truly magnificent and extremely handsome late Victorian cigar cabinet made Walnut with a rich cognac colour, a wonderful background for these sensational solid cast brass fittings.
All the fittings have been painstakingly professionally polished to gleam including the two swing handles to the side and the flush campaign style pulls on the three interior drawers.
The interior of the drawers is lined in Cedar wood which is what kept cigars fresh this is not officially a Humidor as these are modern inventions to regulate the humidity within it is the Cedar lining that did this job well over 100 years ago.
A fabulous showy example and a impressive grands size and in excellent condition. The footprint measures 13 1/2" x 9 1/2" x 12 1/2" tall. Complete with working Bramah key.
