Antique Lancashire Watch Company “The Express English Lever” pocket watch and chain.
The watch has a key-wound movement which is working nicely. The movement is protected by a fitted inner cover.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the case backs for Chester 1897, with a maker's mark for Thomas Hewitt (of the Lancashire Watch Company). The front of the case is in good condition while back of the watch has a couple of indentations.
The acrylic lens is in good condition.
The dial is signed with the name of the original retailer of the watch, J G Graves of Sheffield. There are some hairline cracks to the dial although fairly faint.
The watch comes with a single silver chain, 34cm long including the T-bar and the clasp, and also a silver and enamel fob from Lockhead B&B Sports Club, dated 1943.
The watch and chain will be sent in a new presentation box. ALL PRICES INCLUDE UK POSTAGE (excluding Northern Ireland).
