A magnificent late Edwardian antique jewellery case / box in the form a suitcase covered in rich cognac coloured Crocodile / Alligator skin.

The case has a handle and a polished brass mount, vacant for engraving by your local engraver should you so wish. The case comes with a working top-notch Bramah lock and key, signed Bramah, London.

Once opened, the fully fitted interior with original velvet and velvet pads are revealed and a stylish cantilevered tray. The crocodile is signed by a London retailer, but I am unable to decipher the gold embossed signature.

Dating to c.1910, it remains in excellent condition over 100 years old. 10" x 8" (or 10" including handle) x 3".
