An attractive small and freestanding Dutch marquetry side cabinet in figured mahogany and inlaid with various stained woods. This could have several uses, as a lamp table, nightstand, end table or bedside cabinet. The raised galleried top with an urn, butterflies, scrolls and flowers. The 2 marquetry doors with working lock and key, open to a useful storage area. The sides with further conforming marquetry and hand holes for easy moving. The back with a large floral marquetry panel and the whole standing on Queen Anne style legs with graduating flower inlay.
