Delightful lidded basket, probably used as a sewing box, with exuberant Regency style scrolling to the handles and feet.

The basket is a fine example of cane work and shows good patination throughout, along with traces of gilding. It is a rare survivor of this type of work and measures 14.5" (37 cm) wide, 8.25" (21 cm) deep and 6.5" (16.5 cm) high. All items are sold with a 14 day money back guarantee.
