A superb large cigar cabinet with lovely arched glazed doors retaining the original bevelled glass.

Made from the most stunning Burl Walnut timber, with a gorgeous grain and a warm, rich toffee colour. with polished brass swing handles to either side.

The fronts of the three drawers have pairs of matching brass swing handles which create an attractive show through the glass.

The interior of the drawers is lined in Cedar wood which is what kept cigars fresh this is not officially a Humidor as these are modern inventions to regulate the humidity within it is the Cedar lining that did this job well over 100 years ago. Each of the drawers has an adjustable / removable divider to customise the interior's configuration.

The cabinet comes complete with a working key .. a stunning box in excellent condition dating to c.1890. A good size with a footprint measuring 11 3/4" x 8 1/2" and standing 11 1/2" tall.
