An interesting 19th Century papier-mâché circular snuff box and cover painted with a scene of a man and woman baking bread over a stove, by candlelight. Gilt coloured interior.

Diameter approx 9cm.

Overall in very good condition for age, just some light crazing as expected for a hand painted piece. No chips cracks or splits.
