Antique 1919 silver Limit pocket watch.
Antique 1919 silver Limit pocket watch.
The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working well. The movement is stamped Limit, Swiss made.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the loop. The silver case has London import marks for 1919 with the case importers mark for George Stockwell. The case has light surface marking from use but overall it is in nice condition.
The watch lens is glass and has the odd minor mark from use but overall it is in nice condition.
The white enamel dial is signed Limit with Swiss made at the bottom. The dial has faint hairline cracks / small nibble to the outer edge at 10 o'clock and some faint hairline cracks to the outer edge at 6 o,clock although hardly noticeable to the naked eye but otherwise it is in nice condition.
The watch has its original blued steel hands.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
