Antique 1917 Waltham Traveler pocket watch.
Antique 1917 Waltham Traveler pocket watch.
The watch has a seven jewel stem-winding movement which is working well. The gilded movement has a Breguet hairspring for enhanced precision and the plate is fully signed and has the serial number, 21,790,122, which dates it back to 1917. The movement is protected by an inner cover.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is the gold plated .and is the Empress model made by the American Watch Case Company. The case is in lovely condition with just light surface marks and a couple of small “dings” to the back, nothing serious at all.
The watch glass is in nice condition.
The signed dial has a couple of very faint hairline cracks between 8 & 9 o'clock but otherwise it is in nice condition.
The watch has its original blued steel hands,
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
