Antique 1910 Elgin pocket watch.
Antique 1910 Elgin pocket watch.
The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working well. The 15 jewel movement has a Bregeut hairspring. The movement is signed Elgin Nat'l Watch Co, U.S.A, 15 jewels and it has the serial number 14118528 which dates it back to 1910.
The watch measures 50 mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop . The gold filled case is stamped Belmont warranted 20 years. The case has a screw on front and back and is in nice condition with only light surface marking from use and a small "ding" to the back.
The acrylic lens is in nice condition.
The dial is enamel and it is signed Elgin and has a red outer minute track. The dial has several faint hairline cracks mainly between 3 & 5 o'clock.
The watch has its original blued steel hands.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
