An Early 19thc Dutch Delft Trinket Box
A very attractive Delft enamel box, painted with a coastal scene of a couple before a rocky shore, with fishing smacks in the distance. The front and rear surfaces of the box are decorated with further maritime and rural scenes.
Faux Meissen mark.
Condition.
In excellent antique condition. Minor cracking. Condition is most accurately assessed by means of examining the photographs, which are of high resolution. The photographs form part of the description. The item has wear commensurate with age and use.
Dimensions.
10cm wide.
