An antique Limit full hunter pocket watch.
An antique Limit full hunter pocket watch.
The watch has a Swiss stem-winding movement which is working well. The movement is signed with the Limit name. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 50.4mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and was made by the Illinois Watch Case Company. The case has light surface marking from use and a little unevenness in places but overall it is in nice condition for a 1920s piece. The movement is later to the case although of the right period and is correct for the case.
The winding crown pushes down to open the front cover. inside there is an acrylic lens which is in nice condition.
The enamel dial is in nice condition.
The watch has its original blued steel hands.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
