An antique English silver pocket watch, 1893.
An antique English silver pocket watch, 1893.
The watch has a key-wound movement which is working nicely. A winding key is included. The movement is protected by an inner fitted cover.
The watch itself measures 53.7mm diameter excluding the stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the case back for Chester 1893 together with a case maker’s mark JF. The case has light surface marking from use but overall it is in nice condition.
The watch glass is in nice condition with only minor nibbling to the outer edge at 7 o'clock.
The off white enamel dial has an old repair around the sub seconds dial but otherwise is in good condition.
The watch has its original hands and blued steel sub seconds hand.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
