An antique 'Albo Silver' watch chain with vesta
An antique Albo silver watch chain with vesta.
The single chain measures 42cm long including the T-bar and the clasp.
The T-bar is stamped Albo silver… this was a name that was registered in 1886. It is basically nickel covered with a thick plating of silver. It also has the maker’s initials of N C Reading & Co.
In this particular case, the plate on the T-bar has worn down to the nickel. The graduated links have a silver / pale gold hue to them.
Also included is the nickel vesta case.
Overall it is quite a heavy piece at 75.5g. ALL PRICES INCLUDE UK POSTAGE (excluding Northern Ireland).
