Admiral Fitzroy Barometer
An Admiral Fitzroy barometer. A walnut case with crossed top and base sections. Twin side vernier scale adjusters to mark the rise and fall in the air pressure. A detailed back paper showing the weather predictions. A storm tube and thermometer. Circa 1920.
Fitzroy was a pioneering meteorologist and established what is now known as the met office.
