Aboriginal Australian / Oceanic Woomeras and staff
Rare collection of three antique 19th and early 20th century Australian Aboriginal/Oceanic tribal pieces, c1890-1920.
The two Woomera (Aboriginal spear throwing devices) are late 19th century examples and the staff is early 20th century around 1920. They are all primitively carved and have a great tribal look with good colour/patina.
Overall condition is good with minor wear in line with age and use. The larger Woomera has a lovely leather grip with great signs of wear/use. One end of the largest Woomera has a small loss/split and this is shown in the photographs.
