An excellent quality and very decorative, Victorian period, figured walnut desk inkstand, with all its original brass mounts, the handle is made in ormulu. This stand has serpentine shaping all the way round and has its original pair of bottles. The veneer has all its fine original patinated colour. Sizes:13”(33cms) wide, 9”(23cms) deep, 4 ¼ “(11cms) high. Date circa 1870. I have reluctantly decided that after 60 years spent in this marvellous business it is, figuratively speaking, time to hang up my cheque book.
