A Time Life lobby chair also known as the Eames Executive Work Chair. Designed by Eames in 1960 for the 3 ultra-modern lobbies of the Time Life building in New York.These chairs are still produced to this day by Herman Millar. They are the strongest and most comfortable executive chairs in the world, I know because I use one every day and I would not part with it. It has a generous and and thickly padded cushions and arms.The chair is upholstered in "Desert Sand" soft leather. It was made in 1978 and has both the Eames and the Herman Millar lables on the underside. Both the swivel height adjustment and the tilt mechanism are in perfect order.

This chair is in near mint condition except for the back side of the lower backrest where there are some small plucks in the leather made probably by a cat. They are not visible once you are more than a few feet away from the chair.
