Beautifully made from Coromandel with fretted brass mounts, carrying handles all on an ebonised base. Once the Bramah lock is unlocked, the top lifts and the front opens forwards to reveal an interior of satinwood and mirrors and contents consisting of decanters, glasses, gilt crib board and markers and gilt trays, there are also 2 drawers for playing cards and counters, one of which is sprung and is opened by pressing a gilt button behind the center decanter. In very good condition. 360mm high, 410mm wide and 300mm deep. Circa 1870.
