A late 18th c Yew Wood Box
Once upon a time a commode, now altered to be a box. The main feature of the piece is, of course, the solid yew wood. fans of thsi wood will know that it can take on the most extraordinary colour and patina, this is a great example of this.
The deep apron adds that quirky design element that only a good country piece can achieve.
Ideal for the sitting room or bedroom.
