A Late 16th - Early 17th Century Polychrome Figure Carved figure Saint
A late 16th early 17th century carved and polychrome figure of Jesus and the lamb of god ,probably French.
The relief retains a large amount of its original polychrome, The scene has been damaged at some point and a section has been lost , which would have once made the piece slightly longer.
There are traces of old wood worm and a split, but overall the figure has a superb surface patina and is in excellent condition.

Measurements Height 46cm x Length 35cm x Depth 4cm.
