A gents Tissot Seastar wrist watch, 1974
A gents Tissot Seastar wrist watch.
The watch has an automatic movement, calibre 2571, which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Tissot name and the serial number, 17,402,373, which dates it back to 1974.
The watch measures 36.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is stainless steel and is in good condition with just the odd minor mark. The inside of the case back has the Tissot logo, as does the winding crown.
The lens is in good condition.
The signed dial is in its original finish and is in good condition, with original hands, centre seconds and a day / date display. The day is set by winding the hands forwards and the date is quickset (pushing in the winding crown).
The watch comes on a Tissot stainless steel bracelet which currently fits a wrist of around 19cm although there is room on the clasp to make it around 1.5cm smaller.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
