A gents early 1960s Systema wrist watch
A gents early 1960s Systema wrist watch.
The watch has a 25-jewel automatic movement which is working nicely, it is an ETA 2452 which was also used as the base calibre in Tudor watches.
The watch measures 33.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is gold plated with a stainless steel case back. There is a little marking to the plate but not too detrimental.
The lens is in good condition.
The signed dial is in its original finish which is in lovely condition. Dauphine shaped hands, centre seconds and an early form of quickset date where the hands are wound backwards and forwards repeatedly between 12 midnight and 9pm until the desired date is reached.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box. ALL PRICES INCLUDE UK POSTAGE (excluding Northern Ireland).
