A gents 9ct gold Omega Genève wrist watch
A gents 9ct gold Omega Genève wrist watch.
The watch has a hand-winding movement, calibre 601, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 32,135,630 which dates it back to the early 1970s.
The watch itself measures 32.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the case back for London 1972, together with the Omega triangular stamp and the OWC mark for Omega Watch Company. The case back has a long service inscription. The lugs are very slightly misshapen but barely noticeable, and very strong.
Both the case and the lens are in good condition.
The signed dial is in its original finish, which has a subtle textured finish. There are a few minor marks but nothing too detrimental. Original hands, a little of the black has come off the hour hand but not too noticeable to the naked eye. Centre seconds hand and outer minute markers.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box. ALL PRICES INCLUDE UK POSTAGE (excluding Northern Ireland).
