A gents 9 carat gold Longines wrist watch
A gents 9 carat gold Longines wrist watch.
The watch has a signed calibre 428 hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The serial number dates the watch back to 1966.
The watch itself measures 34mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the case back for London 1967, together with the Baume mark… Baume were the importers of Longines watches to the UK and the Commonwealth. The case is in good condition. The winding crown is a later replacement.
The lens is in good order.
The signed dial is in its original finish, there is a little marking but not too detrimental.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes with a vintage Longines presentation box although it is missing its cushion.
Also included is the Kendal & Dent receipt from 1969. ALL PRICES INCLUDE UK POSTAGE (excluding Northern Ireland).
