A gents 1973 Omega Genève automatic wrist watch
A gents 1973 Omega Genève automatic wrist watch.
The watch has an automatic movement, calibre 1012, which has been tested and is working nicely. The movement is signed and it has the serial number 37724360 which dates it back to 1973.
The watch measures 35.5mm wide excluding the winding crown and 42.5mm high. The case is gold plated and has some wear to the edges from use. The screw-on case back has the Omega logo to the outside and the triangular logo to the inside. The winding crown also has the Omega logo.
The lens is in good condition with just a couple of minor marks, it has the tiny clear Omega logo to the centre.
The dial is signed Omega, Automatic, Geneve, Swiss made, it is in nice condition with only the odd minor mark.
The watch has its original hands, centre seconds hand.
The watch comes on an Omega stainless steel bracelet, 1286/249, which currently fits an 20cm wrist although there is adjustment on the clasp to make it about 2cm smaller. There is some wear to the edges and plating commensurate with age.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
