A gents 1960s Swiss Emperor automatic wrist watch.
A gents 1960s Swiss Emperor automatic wrist watch.
The watch has a good quality AS automatic-winding movement which is working well. The movement is stamped 25 jewels, Swiss. The day is initially set by winding the hands forwards and the quickset date is set by repeated pushing the crown.
The watch measures 35 mm wide excluding the winding crown and 35mm high excluding the lugs. The gold plated case has light surface marks from use and light wear to the edges although it has a good vintage look. The case back is stamped water resistant although with any vintage watch I would not rely on it being water resistant.
The watch lens is in nice condition.
The dial is signed Swiss Emperor, 25 jewels, Self winding, Incabloc with Swiss made at the bottom. The dial has minor marking but overall it is in nice condition.
The watch has its original hands.
A new black leather strap has been fitted.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
