A gents 1960s boxed Accurist wrist watch
A gents 1960s boxed Accurist wrist watch.
The watch has a signed 17-jewel Swiss hand-winding movement which is working nicely.
The watch itself measures 31.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is gold plated with a stainless steel case back. There is the odd minor mark but overall the case is in good condition, as is the lens.
The signed dial is in its original finish and it is in lovely condition with just one small patch which is a little darker… it is not very noticeable as it is on the edge of the dial, next to number 2. Dauphine shaped hands, outer minute markers and an early form of quick set date where the hands are moved backwards and forwards repeatedly between 12 midnight and 9.50pm until the desired date is reached.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in an Accurist presentation box, probably later than the watch itself. ALL PRICES INCLUDE UK POSTAGE (excluding Northern Ireland).
