A gents 1960s Accurist wrist watch.
A gents 1960s Accurist wrist watch.
The watch has a 21-jewel hand-winding movement, AS 1691, which is working nicely.
The watch itself measures 33mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is gold plated with a stainless steel case back. The case is in nice condition with only minor marking from use. The case back has light wear to the back of the lugs
The acrylic lens is in nice condition.
The signed dial is in its original finish and has minor marking although hardly noticeable to the naked eye. The watch has its original hands, and sub seconds hand and an early form of quickset date where the hands are moved backwards and forwards repeatedly between 12 midnight and 9.30pm until the desired date is reached.
A new strap has been fitted.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
