A leather cased set of homoeopathic pills and booklet dated 1848.
The leather insert in the lid is stamped in gold-

There are 24 little phials most with white pills. There is also a silver double ended spoon.

The booklet is titled -

'Homoeopathic Manual Containing hints for Domestic Practice.'

and dated 1848 in Roman numerals.
