A 1930s Swiss gold plated full hunter pocket watch
A 1930s Swiss gold plated full hunter pocket watch.
The watch has a 15-jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The plates within the movement are nicely patterned, a good sign of quality. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover (there are a few surface scratches where this inner cover has been opened in the past).
The watch itself measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and was made by the Dennison Watch Case Company, a prolific supplier of cases to various watch manufacturers. The outside of the case is in lovely condition.
The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside there is an acrylic lens which is in good condition. The double sunk white enamel dial is in lovely condition with blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box. ALL PRICES INCLUDE UK POSTAGE (excluding Northern Ireland).
