A 1920s Thomas Russell full hunter pocket watch.
A 1920s Thomas Russell full hunter pocket watch.
The watch has an English lever stem-winding movement which is working well. The movement is signed Thomas Russell & Son Liverpool. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch itself measures 50.5mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and is the Star model made by the Dennison Watch Case Company. The case has light surface marking from use and light wear to the inner cover but overall it is in nice condition for a 1920s piece.
The winding crown pushes in to release the front cover. Inside, there is an acrylic lens which is in nice condition.
The signed white dial has some faint hairline cracks to the outer edge but otherwise it is in nice condition.
The watch has its original blued steel hands.
The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
